What is cellulose ethanol? Cellulose ethanol is an alternative energy fuel that can be used as a substitute for gasoline in cars. Cellulose ethanol uses biomass sources to create its fuel  though a special production process.  It is  both economical and green because it uses sources that  can be grown very quickly and inexpensively in its production process.  Cellulose ethanol is the viable choice in alternative energy fuels.
